Now that the Collingwood Magpies and West Coast Eagles are locked in for the big dance, their fans are making arrangements for the historic day. So much so, Melbourne is about to intake a LOT of footy fans from the west.
Prices skyrocketed to almost $1000 after West Coast beat Melbourne Demons in the preliminary final, but the big prices didn’t stop their diehard fans. Return flights on Tigerair and Jetstar have sold out in the last 48 hours, with Virgin racing to add more flights to get people into town. Those new flights won’t come cheap with some fares costing $2000!
Qantas have sold out their cheapest fares, with their next options going for almost $1000.
