It sounds like a modern day Cinderella story, but with a plot twist...

A Michael Hill ladies ring was left on Palmer Street back in May, and now that no one has come looking for it, the Police have opened up the search to the public.

On May 11 the ring was found at a Palmer Street bus stop, but it hasn't been claimed!

OUR MINDS ARE GOING WILD...was it meant to be used in an engagement that night? Was it an 'I'm sorry' gift? Was it a birthday present that accidentally got left behind before the party? WAS IT PART OF A SCAVENGER HUNT?!

Our imaginations are going nuts with possibilities.

If you are the owner or know the owner of the ring, it can be collected from the Townsville Property Room at the Mundingburra Police Complex.

The property room can be contacted between Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm by telephoning on 4726 8612 BUT proof of ownership must be provided, so start digging around for the receipt!
