Last night, some serious sh@# went down on The Bachelor.
Blair and Romy got into a massive fight after Blair overheard her dissing Cass, Romy showed her true b**ch side and went HAM at Blair, Nick confronted Cat as to whether she was there for the right reasons, Cat was ‘hurt’ by his allegations and plugged her business one more time, we started to warm to Vanessa Sunshine when she spoke the truth about the mean girls, Cast went on about how she'd been speaking to Nick's brother and how they'd hung out up on the Gold Coast, and found out that there’s a LOT more we don’t know about whatever happened between Nick and Cass.
Basically, it was one big sh#@ storm and we’re itching to watch the next episode, because the show is able to hypnotise us.
We’ll back up a bit and focus on one point in particular - there’s a lot we’re not being told about Cass and Nick’s relationship/friendship before the show.
The girls started to question it and couldn’t understand why Cass was already so in love with Nick if they’d only interacted a few times outside the mansion.
Cass avoided the questions and proceeded to speak about Nick and his footy career, only to be rudely shut down.
Like, has anyone ever heard of letting someone finish their sentence?!
At the cocktail party, Cass decided it was finally time to try and get Nick to herself, to see if he had any feelings at all for her.
She shimmied in to cut in on his chat with Rhiannon (who gave him a ‘get out of mansion free card’, as if The Bachelor is a game of monopoly and he’s in jail - mate, he’s locked up with dozens of girls, I don’t think he minds!), to ask if they could chat afterwards.
Nick agreed to but after he wrapped up with Rhiannon and his whole attitude just seemed like he was not interested.
But then, he walked off with Cass, holding her hand, and they spoke about what’s been going on as Cass already has strong feelings for him.
First of all, Cass shocked us all saying she'd talked to Nick's brother and how it was good to catch up with him AGAIN, which hinted her and Nick's friendship might have been a little more serious than we thought, because why else would she travel to the Gold Coast and hang out with his bro?!
The result? Basically, Nick explained that he’s not yet able to express the same level of feelings as her as he feels he owes it to every girl in the house to get to know each one of them, out of respect, before deciding on his feelings about certain girls.
In other words, he’s interested but is giving every girl a chance so the whole shebang isn’t rigged.
Tbh, I was cheering that he finally showed her some respect and spoke about the whole situation, because I’ve been hating how she’s being made to look crazy when, really, she’s just a girl in love.
We have ALL been there, so imagine how much worse it would be when you’re in a contest for your crush’s heart on national television.
Cass was a little crushed by it all, but feeling more hopeful, especially considering she didn’t get left until last to get a rose this week.
But there was one tid bit of information Cass did dish that has us all talking - she touched on how what happened between herself and Nick before the show is private and she doesn’t want to discuss it with anyone.
If it was just a few dates or her pining away for him in the corner, she wouldn’t be so secretive and cherishing of whatever happened between them.
This begs the question - WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED?!
As one of the other Bachie girls said, she’d be eaten alive by the others if she was to reveal what went on, so keep your secrets close to your heart, Cass, and keep being the sweetie you are…
Maybe try to relax a little, though.
After all the drama of the episode, fans took to Twitter to unleash their opinions, so feast your eyes on it all below!
Side note: why aren't the mean girls being sent home?! Are the producers keeping them their for the drama? Is Nick blind to their deceit? WHAT is going on?!
